More than 2 Folds

Good Sunday Morning to you all!
Woooooooooooooooo hoooooo!!!! sun sun sun!
what an awesome week of weather we are having in the UK

Yesterday I spent sometime in the garden and a few weeks ago I planted some grass in my garden for our Guinea pig Pickle and yesterday evening when it was a little cooler I let him have a munch!
Here's a picture of the cute little chap

and a close up

Ok onto my card for this weeks Pile it on Challenge
the Theme is More than 2 folds
I decided to make a shadow box card.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Digi Doodle Shop
I am using a Digi stamp from from Digi Doodle Hoot Owl
He's just so cute and I really enjoyed colouring him.
I have used Distress inks to colour and blending the clouds
on the main card and also a little on the hand drawn and cut clouds, the Frame is Kraft also distressed.
the flowers have Brown Brads for the centres and the leaves are cut from another flower that had seen better days.
Hoot's eyes and beak have glossy accents, finished off with some faux stitching.

Pile it On - 2 or more folds - My last DT project with them.
I want to say thank you so much for having me along for the time I have spent there! LOVED every Minute! AWESOME TEAMIES!!!!

Dig out the old!

Good Tuesday Morning and its another Sunny Day!
Our Challenge today at Top Tip Tuesday is celebrating our OLD stash.
We want you to use something that you've had for over 6 months
All you have to do is tell us what old stash you've 'dug out'
if you can remember how long you've had it
or better still both and a photo of it!

So the theme

'Dig out the Old'

Janette have a great Tip/tutorial on how to make a Envelope with Old designer papers tooo! so be sure to play along this week!

We have fabby Sponsors too!
Sew Sweet

and a new fabby sponsor
Nicecrane Designs

For my card I have Dug Out some 6 year old Quilling papers and tool, and a scrap of ribbon.
Top Tip 1: Quill and glue all of your circles before shaping them, you will then have the components all an even size.
You can see the size of the circles better than shaping as you make the piece.
Top Tip 2: I use glossy accents to glue together as it holds faster and stronger.

Not much to explain other than I have kept this card Clean and simple the sentiment is from my PC and this card was an order for a close friend who's friends son was being christened and she was to be a god mother.

Don't forget to visit my TTT Teamies.

The Challenge I'm joining in with are:
Lexi's Creations - Black and White plus one other colour (White card, black writing and blue)
Ooh La La Creations -Ribbon or Twine (or Both)
Less Is More - C&S - Baby or Child
Robyn`s Fetish - Anything Goes

Also if you have not been visiting Crafty Ribbons then you could be missing some awesome inspiration!
